Two runaway children in Florida are facing attempted murder charges after firing guns at police.
The girl and boy - aged 14 and 12 - ran away from their foster home before finding a stash of weapons.
The violent standoff is raising questions about the standard of care for vulnerable children in the United States.
Al Jazeera's Andy Gallacher reports from Miami, Florida.
