US jobless claims dip to 1.3 million despite virus spike

The number of people seeking unemployment benefits in the US dropped to 1.3 million last week, as the labor market shows signs of stabilizing. But businesses and workers still face uncertainty, as the number of coronavirus cases across the country continues to rise.
