Violence erupts in Portland as backlash to federal deployment grows

Violence has again erupted in Portland after US President Donald Trump deployed federal agents to quell unrest linked to anti-racism demonstrations. The president has vowed to send federal agents to other cities including Chicago and New York, leading the city mayors to threaten a legal showdown.
