WATCH: How are women of color disproportionately impacted by mental health stressors?
PBS, 26 Jun 2020
Among communities of color, women are at the intersection of race-related anxieties and gender-related stressors. Dr. Michael Lindsey, the Executive Director of New York University’s McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research, said these stressful times, amid national conversations surrounding police brutality and systemic racism, particularly against the Black community, can make that combination of issues particularly sharp. Lindsey spoke with PBS NewsHour's Amna Nawaz about how to manage mental health during a national conversation about race.
