‘Expose It’ - Privilege & Poverty During A Crisis

In episode 4 of #AllHailTheLockdown Ali Rae speaks with Indian activists Arundhati Roy and Bezwada Wilson about how "the world's biggest lockdown" on the subcontinent was made much worse because of pre-existing inequalities. Ali also speaks with social epidemiologist Manuel Franco and feminist historian Josefina Martinez in Spain to explore the ways geographic and gender inequity impacted the coronavirus pandemic.

#AllHailTheLockdown is a 5 part series exploring the complexities of our global response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
