More than 53,000 students in Wuhan began taking the national college entrance exam, or Gaokao, on Tuesday. They were met with rain when they walked into the exam venues. Temperature tests and masks are a must. Local authorities have prepared special masks printed with the words “Wuhan Gaokao” for each student. Students can choose to take off the masks during the exam. Wuhan was the hardest hit Chinese city by the coronavirus.
