'You are not a cow': FDA pleads with Americans to stop using Ivermectin against COVID-19

Doctors in the United States are battling a rising rash of self-inflicted poisonings, as people infected with COVID-19 try to self-medicate against the virus.

Touted as a miracle prevention and cure by far-right commentators and anti-vaxxers, Ivermectin is a treatment for lice and tropical parasites - not viruses.

And with doctors unwilling to prescribe it, people have rushed to farm supply stores to buy doses meant to de-worm livestock.

Jackson Proskow reports on the latest unproven cure pushed by misinformation.
